Your adventure starts with an authentic Florentine lunch in the heart of the Medicean district at a historical restaurant in the ancient merchant open gallery.
Later on, reached the Palazzo Vecchio, get ready to discover the ancient secrets of the famous Palazzo Vecchio. Built in 1299 and designated to be the center of the Republic of Florence, it was later restored by Vasari for the Grand Duke Cosimo de Medici.
Your guide will show you all the hidden areas of the Palazzo. Uncover the Duke of Athens staircase, an escape passageway built into the walls of the palace. Explore the magnificent Salone dei Cinquecento, where gigantic frescos by Vasari display the message "seek and you shall find." Climb the ancient trusses supporting the roof of the Salone dei Cinquecento to see Dante Alighieri's original death mask. Traverse the Hall of Geographical Maps and discover the clandestine passageway that Langdon used to escape the building.
You can enter the passageway through the secret step up in Bianca Cappellos' dressing room or explore the secret "Studiolo of Francesco I."
